Hot Water, Commerical Floor Heating
Commercial Infloor® brings the efficiency and comfort of radiant floor heating to commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings. It's the perfect system for space heating, floor warming, snow melting and turf conditioning - and ideal for large commercial/industrial applications. The system uses 1/2", 3/4" or 1" tubes, making it possible to use up to 1,000-foot circuits. This reduces installation costs while covering more floor area. The ability to deliver high flow rates makes the system ideal for even the toughest heating challenges.
Infloor tubing is available in two configurations: non-barrier tubing from cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and oxygen barrier tubing from cross linked polyethylene (BPEX). These tubes provide excellent performance in radiant applications & provide the system designer options for component selection. The tubing comes in three sizes - 1/2", 3/4", and 1".
Infloor Commercial Floor Heating systems feature the Infloor Control Panels, which allow the floor temperature to remain in sync with the outdoor temperature. For every 10°F (5.5 °C) decrease in the outdoor temperature, the reset controller will increase the temperature 1°F (0.5°C) inside allowing for temperature equalization of the structure's heat loss.
Benefits/Advantages of Commercial Floor Heating
Among the many advantages of the Infloor commercial floor heat system:
• Delivers heat at the floor - where it's needed most for comfort
• Low operating costs - up to 40% more efficient than conventional heating systems
• Precision system temperature control with integrated floor and outdoor sensors
• Quick heat recovery is ideal for buildings with large overhead doors
Commercial Infloor provides the ultimate in comfortable, dry, safe, warm floors. Plus, it's free of dust and drafts, making it the perfect floor heating system for:
• Schools, churches, daycare centers, offices
• Commercial buildings, shopping centers, manufacturing plants
• Airplane hangars, repair garages, car washes
• Greenhouses
• Animal confinement buildings
Applications of Commercial Floor Heating
Infloor tubes are embedded directly in the concrete slab or soil. Due to the high Cv rating (14.4), the commercial manifolds can service one or two 450-foot (135 m) lengths of 1/2" (13 mm) tube; or one 1,000-foot (300 m) length of 3/4" (19 mm) tube per manifold section. With eight supply/return modules, reset control with sensors, circulating pump, air vents and drains, preassembled manifolds can deliver up to 300,000 Btu/hr (88,800 W).
